What I don’t like is he can’t own a gun. So, now it is out there that an elderly gentleman is alone in his house unarmed. Perhaps he can “borrow” a gun. He wouldn’t “own” it. It sounds like this poor guy has been set up for some sort of violent act and he is not allowed to protect himself. Just a thought

Legally no, but at 82 y/o I hope he protects himself first and worries about "the law" later.
