Who will be the GOP nominee for president in 2012?

Posted on 09/22/2010 6:10:09 AM PDT by Jefferson Liberal

I think it will be Jeb Bush because he is a successful former Governor of a state with no income tax, he speaks fluent Spanish and latinos love him, and he is an intellectual heavyweight.

Who do you think it will be?

Jeb is pro-life, which likely makes you a troll. Above is a "fetus." Baby is another way to put it. Disposable, to you, for the convenience of the "mother."

I think the federal government shouldn’t have so much power as they can decide whether or not a woman has an abortion.

That’s too 1984 for me.

I voted for Obama.

I do believe we have a troll confirmation. Social liberal Obama voter, trolling to stir up comments and toy with us. Time to bring in the ZOT patrol.

What about the prospective child's say-so? You don't think it advisable that someone stand up for it's sake?

The Left has won the culture war. Law doesn’t apply to the Left.

And this one isn’t even slightly amusing.

Mundane and ineffectual, though honest about himself.

If a Yale & Harvard grad isn't an intellectual heavyweight, who is?

Intellectual heavyweight indeed. Do you know of anyone with money that didn't graduate from either school? A degree from Ivy League universities is their birthright.

You are correct. The Federal Government should not have that power. They used an unelected court writing legislation against the constitution to seize that power. If the federal government got out of the way most states would ban abortions tommorrow. Then we could work on a constitutional ammendment to preserve life, which would be the proper method.

Oh, and in case no one told you posting a vanity is not the proper way to introduce yourself around here.

That's got nothing to do with what we're discussing, but since you asked....yes, I personally know several.

Thanks, I think most of the social issues should be decided at the state level.

What did you mean by posting a vanity?

Because I’m liberal on most everything except fiscal issues. ____________________________________________________________ Not sure what that means. I guess pro-abortion? Support compulsory unions? For taking race into account in hiring and school admissions and promotions? For gay “marriage?” For open borders and making anyone that wants an American citizen?

Those are all, at bottom, economic issues, too., maybe the most significant ones.

Charlie Crist

by 2012 he will be “tan, rested, and ready”.

You can avoid the zot if you can name the politician that was previously noted as “Tan, Rested, and Ready” for the presidency.

Extra special bonus points if you can provide the source as well...
