I’m betting that Magnum P.I. has more similarities with the original show than this one does.

NCIS LA: The lead investigator doesn't even know his own name becuase his birth was a mystery. Blah blah blah blah blah blah..... The 'computer nerds' are geniuses who have immediate access to every computer and camera in the Western world. Nurses are the real heroes. no, doctors are the real heros... no wait, the hospital administrator is the realest hero... if only there were a colorful, brilliant lawyer to save the day...
