As much as I like Stevie Wonder’s music, I think he would be better off taking a page from Helen Keller.
Blind people can have their own dignity but it must come from within themselves and not be dependent on the government or any other outside influence.
Dignity comes from the inner soul of a person.
Dignity can neither be bought or sold.

I personally know a man whose father (a Christian missionary) helped build a hospital for the blind in Herat, Afghanistan when the Soviets occupied the place.
