With the exception if the rally on Saturday I've been sticking close to home. That means Missy gets to pose. I can get 2 or 3 shots before she gets disgusted and walks out but she always comes back, LOL.
It is good practice for using light bounce at different angles and strengths.
These are from the Sony A-200 with either the SAL 75-300 or the old Minolta 70-210 f4 Beercan lens.
A good zoom lens is as handy indoors as out.

Missy have her eye on a cricket?
Beautiful cat. I sure do miss mine.
She is always on alert for other cats trying to sneak into “her” room. I’m lucky she shares it with me!
Thanks, SWAMPSNIPER. She is beautiful.
. . . . I need a Cat.
Nice photos.
Out here you just wait and someone will throw one out a car window. We are maxxed out now and I know there are a couple living in the crawl space. It just never ends.
Thank you. I love cats.
Mine died June and I miss her.
You are a wizard with the camera, Swampsniper. Missy looks so sweet - hard to believe she’s so tempermental in front of the camera. Oh, wait. That’s right she’s a kitty cat.
Missy is a beauty...and her “subject” is a great photographer. ;o)
I know I don’t post on your threads too often, but I always enjoy your pictures.
You are a very talented photographer, and I thank you so much for sharing your talent with us.
The trick to photography is to make it a minor obsession for a while. Any time you have a spare minute you take a picture, and try it from a different angle or with different technique each time. After a while your instincts link up.
I'm not very scientific about it beyond understanding what camera settings do.
It sure beats sitting in front of a TV set!
Wow, those are gorgeous! She’s a beautiful little girl! :-)
boo-full kitteh!
She’s beautiful!
What do you feed her to keep her
coat so nice?
I live with 3 of these feline cuties,
and it IS fun taking their pics.
They are such individuals and make entertaining
subjects :)
Non-cat people just do not understand
that each kitty has their own personality.
Thank you for sharing your fur-person and your talent.

One of my furbabies died in August, my heart is still raw! :*(
I ‘m sorry for your loss.
The pictures are gorgeous. Makes me love this cat:) Missy is beautiful and so is your photography. These are not digital but 35 mm?
I have 6 cats, (and thank goodness a pet door). Cats are the cats meow.
Digital has passed the point where it is now more capable than film. I recently started playing with film only because I found a great old 35mm camera in a thrift shop and it was just too pretty to ignore. Playing with the 35mm has slowed me down and made me think more about each shot. Digital can be too easy and that's not always a good thing.
I do still use some old 80s 35mm lenses on my Sony, all the old Minolta Maxxum lenses fit and there are some very good ones..
Excellent photography!
My Missy is pure white, with pink ears and green eyes. But I had another cat that looks just like yours.
A gorgeous model always makes the photographer look better.
