Illegal immigrants depress wages. For instance, meat packing and chicken processing used to be done for good wages by union labor. Not no more. Across the country construction work, yard maintenance, pool cleaning, hotels/hospitality, office cleaning, restaurant work, fast food and on and on is now done for artificially low wages by illegal aliens. The Americans who used to do those jobs no longer do so. Indeed, in some instances, they don’t dare.

Why can’t I walk into Mexico and demand all sorts of rights, demand that they print everything in English, demand that they give me food stamps and subsidized housing and free medical care? They would shoot me, that’s why.

Illegal aliens consume public services. They qualify for all manner of free stuff at our expense. WIC, Section 8 housing, food stamps, all manner of government benefits that WE have to pay for.
