I don’t hate Karl Rove once I understood his point about O’Donnell not being able to win the seat in Delaware. He is all about winning control in the senate.
Can anyone here guaranty she will win? I would LOVE for her to win, and HATE for her to lose because if she loses, the nation is affected, not only Delaware. I think that is what Rove was trying to say. It’s the numbers and the power of the ruling party to get bills passed or trashed and who controls what gets to the floor, and whatever else they do. That’s the big picture.
Funding her campaign is good, but getting people who voted for Biden for how many years to vote for a conservative will take a miracle. No?
I can guarantee you one thing. You will NEVER see a democrat/liberal strategist trash a dem candidate the way the country saw Rove trash O'Donnell on the night of her victory. You would NEVER hear, for example, Carville or Begala downtalk a dem nominee; apparently they internalized Reagan's 11th Commandment and the GOP establishment refused to.
If she does win carrying the conservative banner, it will be in spite of, and not because of Rove's efforts. Once she was the nominee, a true conservative commentator, analyst, etc. would have offered advice in private and not trashed in public.
The Democrat is a doctrinaire Communist appratchik ~ you know what his campaign slogans were going to be.

I don't know, but since O'Donnell is on the ticket, we'll actually get a chance to find out.
