That’s a whole lot of crazy. I’m more sympathetic than angry. You have to be pretty far along on the road to nutsville, if you disfigure yourself (especially in the face) all over some misplaced desire for attention.

Think this is crazy? You should see the video from last Monday night’s City Council meeting where closet Dhimmie and sitting Vancouver City Council Critter Jeanne Harris went right off the deep end...there is video at the City’s website, and frankly, it is the kind of thing Bill O’Reilly lives for.

As a judge I would sentence her to walk door to door to everyone in her city and personally apologize to every member of the community,regardless of color.

Remember Charles Stuart, about 20 years ago in Boston, who killed his pregnant wife, collected about a half million life insurance policy, blamed a MUBM, even picked out a guy named Willie Bennett in a lineup, and was found to have killed his wife himself.

Not saying I knew she did this to herself, because I didn’t, but my first thought when I saw her burns was that the attacker went pretty easy on her. She didn’t look nearly as disfigured as Katie Piper, the British girl who really did have acid thrown in her face. Guess she didn’t have the guts to use the good stuff.
Here’s the worst part: Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t it thought that this inspired a copycat attack in Arizona? Congrats, Bethany: Thanks to your little stunt some poor woman gets to live with facial burns for the rest of her life. Just great.

The article I read is she started screwing up her story right before she was to go on Oprah.
Something about she did it to bring light to her Christian faith.

She is now going to jail, owes thousands of money back to all those well wishers who sent money for her medical and didn’t do a thing to help the Christian walk/faith.

Munchausen’s Syndrome?
This is great news for Jesse Jackson. It will allow him to exploit this story to advance his own agenda, just as he did with the Susan Smith hoax a number of years ago.
I never would have expected that someone could do that to herself.
But on the other hand, I could never understand the part of the story where she said a black woman did this to her.
Absent some boyfriend connection, I just couldn’t see this as the type of attack a random black woman would launch at a white woman. THe white girl wasn’t dating a black guy or anything.
So I guess I’m not surprised that it isn’t true. But still shocked someone could do this to herself.
Although, I’m betting she didn’t realise that she should dilute the acid before using it......
