Don't pass off fried ice cream, IT IS very good.

Take Rice Krispies or Corn Flakes and crush them up. Make ice cream into a ball and give it an egg wash and then cover in crushed cereal, then put into freezer until hard. (I like to freeze it and repeat the coating part 2 more times)

Drop coated ice cream ball in 350 degree oil for 5-10 seconds.
Dry off with paper towel
Enjoy

You can dust the fried ice cream with powdered sugar, or drizzle chocolate over it. Or sprinkle cinnamon on it.

Try it sometime, it is very good.

I might just do that next time I have a BBQ/pool party. The kids would love it. I’d have to fry the ice cream before the fish though. Nobody wants fishy tasting ice cream. Amazing the things you can learn on Freerepublic.
