It has taken me a while for me to finally notice this. Approximately 2 years ago Beck was on the radio talking pitchforks and torches. About fighting back against the liberal-progressive tide. Now he is talking about what seems to be a national Kum-Byah-Ya and group hug? It seems he has become more interested in shilling for Beck Inc. rather than raising a call to action. I may be viewing it wrong but that is just how I see it.
UPS and all the big name sponcors left beck, all he has is the gold traders for sponsors
really dont know what he was before Mormon, except an alcoholic, which led (when he bottomed out) to his joining the Mormon Church, thus my comment about his conversion.

No actually your comment was ...
“Glenn appears to have made a sincere conversion to devout Christian.”
You r said noithing about his joining the Mormons and their organization...
T%hatsa why a few chrsitians have questioned yourt original comment...
Chriustianity is one religion and belief...
mormonism is a whole other different religion...
Glenn beck himself keeps stating that he is a mormon on his show...
So he’s a mormon, but not a
Christian...
Moemonism is not a denomination of the Chrsitian churches...
Mormonism is not Christianity...
Beck has freedom of worship...
Beck can believe that 1,000 year old Quakers live on the moon...
But that doesnt make him a Christian...
One of the consistent themes of his show - and I listen carefully, on a regular basis - is that the worst aspects of our current politicians and the government they’re inflicting on us are:
1. Corruption
2. Progressivism
3. Elitism & the corresponding stiff-arming of the American people
4. Straying far from the Founders’ intent for our republic
Both the Dems (in large numbers) and the GOP (in smaller numbers) have been guilty of all four. I want to see the day when I can watch the election results and not be terrified that one side or the other WILL sell our country out.
That, IMO, is one of the major charges of the Tea Party movement - to act as the conscience of the established political parties, not a substitute for them. I want them all to be not guilty of Items 1-4.
I don’t consider Mormons to be Christian, but I like very much what Beck is doing. He has America at heart.
How the mighty have fallen. Pat, say it ain’t so.
We all work for money if we are lucky enough to have a job...its sure no big deal he gets a salary..If one works with getting money, they are volunteers for charity work...
Should read if one works without getting money they are volunteers.....
Here is my take on it for what it’s worth. Praying to God for guidance & strength is always good. Sometimnes however, action is REQUIRED. Even the children of Israel were given the ok to fight by God. I would remind Glenn Beck that while Geo. Washington was a praying man, he also issued the command to fire on the British, his troops didn’t fall to their knees and pray for the Brits to just go away. Beck is a shill, a fraud, a cry baby and a coward. He is good for saying “we surround them”. So if that is true, how did we get TARP, stimulus, Obama-care, financial reform etc etc??? Not too scary are we? I guess we didn’t pray hard enough. I do not advocate violence but beleive in the civil disobedience as practiced by Ghandi and MLK. It is direct action that shows a point. Big whoop dee doo rallies for self aggrandizement serve no purpose unless and until we are will to stand up and say “OH HELL NO!!” and mean it
