Not familiar with Paladino. He is a real conservative? Does he have a chance in the general?
In all honesty, neither really look like they have a chance in November. At least Carl brings his own money (he’s a real estate millionaire from Buffalo).
He is the tea party candidate whose yard signs say “I’M MAD AS HELL.” Sure, he has a couple skeletons in his closet as any non-politician would (the ‘scandal’ in the primary was him forwarding anti-Obama emails hinting at his race).
Probably not - the unions will resort to all their usual tricks and the buses of homeless people and "community organizers" will be out in force in NYC. Plus the dead always vote for DemocRATs. That's my take from upstate at any rate.
But that doesn't mean we can't have some hope for change for a month or so ourselves. :-)

From http://www.rasmussenreports.com/state/new_york :
Cuomo v. Paladino: 58-29
Cuomo v. Lazio: 58-27
As I said earlier though, Lazio has a history of being a loser (a dismal showing against Hillary), and Carl has his own money.
I dont know much about Paladino but really like what I know so far. As for his chances in the general, I would say he’s the underdog.
