He’s talking of fade out from bright sunlight into a dark room etc...

My comp does such. ACOG does not...mine is a TA31 with the docter halo on top of it...

Mine was a factory buy at around 1200$...

My comp m is on a short M4gery with an ANPVS14 which is where that model aimpoint works best.

If I have to go with one version for glass on my PDW its the ACOG.

One other consideration is a fixed 8x scope with a docter mounted at the 2 o’clock position for quick snap shooting and the 200 meter right eye left eye stop shot....

The offset optic GREAT configuration depending on how you do it. I was thinking of doing something similar with a piston 5.56 I'm putting together.

If I do decide to go with that type of configuration, the side-mounted glass would likely be the Aimpoint T-1 micro with the Daniel Defense offset mount.

The Micro T-1 only weighs 4 freaking ounces. Would be a nice rifle with a Nightforce up top.

The only problem with this configuration would be running night vision (PVS-14) behind the offset T-1.

Hence, I might just put the T-1 on top, with a quick-release 4x magnifier behind it so I can take the magnifier off and replace it with the PVS-14.
