I had an Irish Setter, that when I came home from work, she'd meet me at the door, wagging her tail and whinning. If I'd whine back, she'd whine even more, and louder. So I'd whine back at her louder. Back and forth we'd go whinning at each other. It was hilarious.
My current Irish Setter has learned how to whine to get my attention and try to get her own way.
I'm not sure if the whinning is because they are Irish Setters...or because the are females
(...Or because they're owned by me)
