Castle sucks, but a vote for O'Donnell is an implicit vote for a self-admitted marxist in the general. Christine O'Donnell is not Marco Rubio or Joe Miller. Who are these weak candidates winning in purple or blue states? We're sweating bullets with Angle in Nevada of all places against the biggest dirtbag in the Senate. If you thought conservative groups have been unfair to O'Donnell and she wins tuesday night, the DSCC is going to turn on her like the Eye of Mordor. I want them to have to worry about which seats to try and defend, while we eviscerate them in the voting booth.
Maybe you would rather go down with her than win with Castle - fine, but I say screw moral victories and secure as many R's in Senate seats as possible. Then, we kick their asses again in 2012, when even more of these socialist automatons are on the ballot.
line 2, obama is calling and has secured the votes for card check in a lame duck session. He wants to thank you for voting for senator coons, er, christine o’donnell.
Seriously, it’s almost like you guys forgot that every republican held the line against obamacare and it took nearly every blue dog they had to get it. All but 1 R held the line against porkulus. Who here would have rather had a D seated than castle when those came up for vote?
I have a litmus test for political candidates - pro life and pro second amendment.
A pro life candidate is likely to understand the meaning of the Declaration of Independence and what Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness is all about.
A pro second amendment candidate is likely to understand that the constitution is the ultimate guide for governing.
The two founding documents are literally the foundation upon which this nation was built.
Your Mike Castle fails both questions on the test. Pro life groups give him a score of absolute zero, while pro second amendment groups have given him a failing grade of “F”.
No conservative should in good conscience vote for the guy.
End of story.

Actions have consequences. A congressman who voted for Cap & Trade is either a Traitor or simply too stupid to hold public office. All MUST be removed, NO Exception.
Again I will state why.
This country needs to feel the pain of living under marxist ideology. We've had a slow and steady diet of it for what, over 80 years now? It's now becoming more intense and Americans need to understand that the pain they are experiencing is the fault of DEMOCRATS. That is the best way to get them thrown out permanently, IMO.
Whether or not that will happen sooner or later or depends upon how soon Americans realize the root of the problem. You keep putting in RINO’s and you continue to sow confusion and apathy to the average voter.
One of the reasons we are seeing such a large swell of discontent towards incumbents is that Americans are finally waking up to the fact that the dems marxist ideologies are starting to really hurt from every angle. The question is, will the average American, who does not follow politics, understand exactly where the problem is originating. You keep putting RINO’s in and you will get incumbents thrown out, but they will be replaced by those who are simply more of the same, which is exactly what you are advocating.
Stick to your principles, win or lose, and you continue to send messages. In the meantime, if marxists continue to destroy this country from within, let's make absolutely sure they have the democrat label next to their name.
Here you are voicing your concerns that Christine O'Donnell won't win in November, unlike Mike Castle who's sure to win.
Given that Castle is such a popular fellow and guaranteed winner, then why all the hand-wringing?
Tomorrow's primary should surely be a cake walk for such a popular career politician.
I might add, that I find it interesting that Senator DeMint doesn't share your concerns. He's endorsed that "certain loser in November" over Mike Castle.
No thanks.
It’s her that wins tomorrow, and Castle who runs 3d party, if there’s any third party at all.
The think is, she actually has experience at running as a write-in. But no, don’t want that.
That’s for Castle to do, or no one. The Republican Party is being taken over by the Tea Party. The RINOs don’t seem to want to just lose, they tend to run 3d party. Maybe they can call it the Elite party, or the Establishment or the Incumbent party.
“...I say screw moral victories and secure as many R’s in Senate seats as possible.”
What are you gaining if the “R” acts like a “D”? I say send a message to the RINO’s and vote for the more Conservative of the two. Sooner or later they will get the message and start standing for the principles that the old GOP stood for.
I believe it was Ayn Rand who said, “When ou let food compromise with poison, what you get is poison...”
Really. I noticed tings have gotten so bad for Zero he is meeting folks in back yards...
No. When offered the choice of a real Democrat and a faux Democrat, the libs will always go for the real thing.
Enough of wishy-washy moderates...come down off the fence, and take a frickin’ stand for once.
Heh...new inductee to the “Gotta Vote RINO” Hall of Fame...
I’ll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around me
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I’ll get on my knees and pray
We don’t get fooled again
Don’t get fooled again
No, no!

sorry for the double or triple post...
All i’m saying is that obamacare didn’t get passed on a senate full of stuart smalleys and it probably won’t break a filibuster to get repealed if we insist on jim demints in deep blue states.
Castle is the bullseye in everything we’ve been fighting against.
You should be tarred and feathered and run out of Freerepublic on a rail.
Your ignorance is appalling. And that is putting it mildly.
This is a conservative website. We promote conservative values, and work to elect conservative candidates, because conservative values are what will save America.
Mike Castle is pro-abortion, pro-big government, and pro-gun control.
Those three things are anathema to conservatives. There is not even a question about it.
Mike Castle will vote for Cap and Trade. He has before and he will again. He is a true believer in the CO2 hoax. I know—I have confronted him face to face about it. I told him CO2 has NEVER led temperature in 400,000 years of the geological record, so how can CO2 be the driver of the so-called “global warming”. He disagreed with me, saying he has done his own research. That was June 30, 2009. Since then, that research has been throughly discredited.
You say he voted against Obamacare, which he did. My question to Castle, is, and has been, why will you not join the move to repeal this unconstitutional legislation?
Nope, he won’t lift a finger now.
Mike Castle has done one thing of note in 18 years in DC—the statehood quarter program. Big whoop. In the meantime, our country has become bankrupt.Or had not you noticed? His era of Congress is the problem.
So, yeah we face a David v. Goliath problem here in Delaware, where I live. I’ll side with David.
You can help carry Goliath’s body away after the battle.
Mike Castle is not an “R” and cannot be counted on to vote “R”. With Christine, I have removed that doubt.
She is prolife, pro-small government, pro-Second Amendment, against Obamacare and against Cap and Trade, pro-Constitution.
These are the most important issues facing the future of America.
That you would endorse a candidate that is none of the above shows my premise—that you appallingly ignorant of the issues.
You need a different website to haunt.
