They failed to mention what might happen if you didn’t take a drug when needed.

Don’t know of a single antibiotic that causes more stomach trouble than Cipro.

It’s not usually given unless the illness is serious.

Strep throat?

Take aspirin and get over it.

In the long run it's much easier to digest.

Yes, this is nothing new.
I have heard it for years, and suffered it about a month ago.

I had a chest infection and high fever. My brother, a doctor,
told me to start doxycycline for ten days.
By the forth day, my stomach was a disaster, and in both directions. On top of that, I felt like I had died and gone to H.
Needless to say, I quit taking the drug.

Good grief, this has been common knowledge for a bunch of years. Anyone who has had c.diff after a bout of antibiotics can testify to the imbalance in gut flora and fauna.

Yay probiotics.

This has been known for years, and is one of the main selling points for probiotics to aid in reestablishing the beneficial bacteria killed off by antibiotics.

Cipro is strong stuff and can cause a lot of bad side effects. I had to take it for a recurring infection.
This drug warning applied to me but I did not have the knowledge at the time.

* Depression and Anxiety Disorders

Ciprofloxacin has highly pronounced side effects in people suffering from panic disorder or/and depression. There have been reported cases of psychosis, suicide attempts, panic attacks and acute anxiety, all occurring during or shortly after ciprofloxacin treatment. Patients with previous or current psychiatric conditions, are prone to experiencing this type of side effect. Caution is highly advised.

I've taken so many antibiotics (when I was younger) for strep throat, and they were, in part, responsible for really messing up my health in the long run. I now take Oregano Oil or Thieves Oil for serious sore throats, and it's worked each time (so far) ...

You eat yogurt when you are taking antibiotics.

When my boys were little 2 of them were very prone to ear infections and one got strep a lot. I learned to never give them antibiotics without also giving them yogurt that had alive culture.

i figured this out myself years ago. If I need antibiotics for a sinus infection, 3 days later I’ve got horrible horrible diarrhea. It’s a struggle to make it to the last pill. sometimes I don’t make it, and throw them out.

It is really nothing new. It has been known that antibiotics kill the good bacteria in your gut for years, hence the common problem of diarrhea after taking them. Yogurt and pro-biotic supplements are a good cure.

Also, buttermilk is a great natural cure for a vaginal yeast infection. My wife informs me that the buttermilk is also very soothing.

Not to worry, Obamacare will give unemployed American hippies “green jobs” giving probiotic enemas to people suffering these symptoms.

Activa, never take antibiotics without eating some yogurt to get the ‘good’ bacteria back in you.
