Petition for Boehner to Step Down

Posted on 09/12/2010 9:10:52 AM PDT by GreaterSwiss

http://www.petitiononline.com/Boehner/petition.html

Rep Boehner should step down from party leadership after making the comments "If the only option I have is to vote for those at 250 and below, of course I'm going to do that. But I'm going to do everything I can to fight to make sure that we extend the current tax rates for all Americans". In his leadership place should be a real republican like Mike Pence.

Sincerely,

The Undersigned

I’ll be impressed with the first guy who makes serious moves at cutting spending.

Yes, excellent point which I agree with totally.
Don’t forget the millions of illegals wiping out the taxpayers coffers.
Stop welfare for able people, remove illegals from the welfare/assistance teat.
The economy would boom!

I am still disappointed at times.

And what are the stupid Republicans talking about? How much or how little should they steal from the tax payers! No one is talking about the huge welfare elephant in the room!

Yep. I'll wait for after Nov. 2nd and see where we're at. If we win Congress, then I'll expect the GOP to do some serious backtracking on spending, taxes, and the cost of government; including the repeal of a whole bunch of legislation, and non-funding of Obama executive orders.

If whoever becomes speaker doesn't set the tone, then is when we get the long knives out. Now is not the time to be playing this game. It just gives ammunition to the Dems.

I have a congressional candidate who is flat out honest and that’s good enough for me.

“I agree with Clyde Wilson that America can’t be saved or returned to its roots until the Republican Party is destroyed.”

Sounds right from the mouth/teleprompter of Barry. Enjoy your pipe dream along with your hopey changey thingie.

I am opposed to this type of nonsense right now. We have an election to win, a madman to stop, a time enough to determine our leadership and — see steps above — show them how we will hold them accountable.

Probably be wisest with cutting things that don’t directly affect people but do cut spending. Cutting welfare is a good goal but business still needs to have reason to hire them.

I like the idea of eliminating things like the EPA. The lake association where I live is suddenly paying $800 to apply for a permit to spray for weeds and that needs to be done 2 to 3 times per year. That $800 is spread among less than 3 dozen lake front owners and doesn’t include the cost of the actual permit or the service.

The money saved on sensible environmental policies is money that will be spent in the private sector.

I’m sorry, I don’t see what you’re talking about.

Even in this scenario, Obama has still demonstrated he is committed to raising taxes during a horrible recession and he has still done an act — letting the Bush tax cuts expire for the “rich” — that will seriously harm our economy as well as cement Obama’s infamy in those who make the private sector produce prosperity.

Those are serious political acts that will remain serious political issues that dog Obama and the Rats throughout the coming campaign.

How is taking away Obama’s one gripe that the Republicans are blocking tax cuts for the middle class hurt our cause or help the Rats? Especially only a few months out before a new Congress.

How in the world is being unable politically right now to stop Obama from his suicide mission against the “rich” — and at the same time depriving him of his only political cover, that the Republicans are “blocking” tax cuts for the middle class — “agreeing to their entire agenda”?

Let’s get a grip, here.

Further, in a few short months an entirely new Congress is going to be seated. If we focus on making that a Congress that is as committed as we can get it to be to stopping this dangerous bumbler in the White House, these “silly season” machinations won’t mean a thing in the long run.

Right now this is mostly a battle for political positioning vis-a-viz the mid-terms. That’s a reality.

Putting these people to work would bring in enough tax revenue to pay off the deficit AND give the tax payers massive tax relief at the same time.

There are not enough jobs for those who want to work, much less for those who want to work AND the welfare slaves.

I have often wondered what the unemployment rate would be if all those on welfare were counted in the labor force.

You will notice in the list below only two. #2 Nancy P and #3 Dan Inouya are not chosen by BO...The remainder go when he does. Nanci is too deep into the fraud to be next pres....and Inouya nothing need to be said here.

The Judicial wing of our government have been doing some absurd decisions not based on the constitution or case law....Not wanting to “embarrass the congress”..Even a lay person can see that many are asinine. Justice's Thomas comment was weird....Something about dodging the issue....Not about ignoring it or judicating it or it not being valid.

In reality the judiciary cannot remove him only find him ineligible or guilty; only congress can impeach and remove by our present legal system. Unless the two work together in concert the entire country will be in chaos for months and open us to all sorts of attacks etc. Until Nov. the judicial branch has no choice but to shuffle, dodge, juggle...until "It's show time!" We'd better work out tails off and carry the House and Senate.

It must be swift and organized. When the time is right the courts will act, the congress will act. All BO appointive will be removed and only two will remain to form a new government (which they will have settled before actions are completed...Condi will again be SoS)

......

This is a list of the current presidential line of succession,[1] as specified by the United States Constitution and the Presidential Succession Act of 1947 (3 U.S.C. § 19) and subsequent amendments to include newly created cabinet officers.

# Office Current Officer
1 Vice President Joe Biden
2 Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi
3 President pro tempore of the Senate Daniel Inouye
4 Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton
5 Secretary of the Treasury Timothy Geithner
6 Secretary of Defense Robert Gates[2]
7 Attorney General Eric Holder
8 Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar
9 Secretary of Agriculture

The Republican Party does not need to be “destroyed,” nor is there any use in doing so.

If the Party does not reflect the will of the people, it will die on the vine of its own accord or it will be reformed or displaced by an organic movement such as the Tea Party movement.

Focusing on “destruction” of the party, IMHO, is neither helpful nor effective. I suggest we focus on strengthening and enlarging those things — such as the Tea Party movement — that are viable vehicles for the peoples’ voice. Whatever that does to the Republican Party, it does. So be it.
