Hey gang! I've downloaded, and burned to CD, copies of the Koran (English and Urdu). Tomorrow morning, 9/11, 8:45 AM Eastern Time, I'm going to take it into my backyard and I'm going to set it on fire. Who's with me?

If I download the .pdf of the Koran and then use a file-shredder on it, is that as good as burning it?

At 100 - 1 “write-to-read” ratio for a web site, that would indicate 180,000 have read the idea.
Two replies indicate “many” have already talked about it off-line, so that would indicate 100 x 2 reply x ??? would mean we will face a Koran reprint problem on 9/12/2010.

Can’t burn mine as I need it for a reference book in case they try to eventually slip in a more tame Koran with the parts about killing the innocent and beating women taken out.

The only way to get a koran to burn, though, is to run over to Border's and BUY it.
So do I NOT burn a koran, or do I go contribute to it's sales stats by acquiring one to burn?

I am placing a page out of a Koran in every single septic tank my plant makes.
Every day from now on.

I wonder too. It is not as clear cut as one might think. They would have approved of any protest that shakes the powers that be by exercising free speech. Uncle Bammy has been pressuring everybody to stop this protest. I come down on the side of protest.
I’m not depriving anybody of reading material, because my copies did not exist until I downloaded and burned them to CD.

I just unceremoniously tossed my CD on a small bonfire I lit in my fireplace.

Better: take pages from Quran (needs to be in Arabic, can be printed off Net). Burn lower half of page, attach charred page to light pole near mosque, drive off.
