A TERRITORY girl is lucky to be alive after she was mauled by a savage dog.
Seven-year-old Meg Croton and her brother Connor, 9, had been feeding their family's dog - an eight-year-old mastiff cross - in their Humpty Doo back yard when the girl was attacked by the vicious hound.
"I tripped on a rock and fell, and I think I kicked his leg," Meg recalled the attack. "And then it hurt very badly and he was on top of me and ripped on my head. "But my brother saved my life."

I wanna.
LOL
On the spot. No choice.
Si, si lo es...
What do you pack usually?
I have a Colt Mark IV .380 for CC.
um, yeah. You’ve allowed yourself to be panic striken over the occasional report one sees of a dog attacking. That is rare beyond belief.
Maybe you should just stay in your bedroom.
I know. That is exactly why I posted it to you. So, that when it occurs, you will recall this exchange. First rule of an Attorney? Never ask a question to which you do not already know the answer.
Have a nice night.
Es verdad, Creo que sí.
Es verdad, Creo que sí.
Forgot tambien.
Should read:
Es verdad, Creo que sí tambien.
;-)
I am pretty sure I am not panic stricken. And there are any number of things on this thread, which, 72 hours ago, I would have thought beyond belief... yet here we are.
Maybe you should just stay in your bedroom.
I prefer posting from multiple locations. But thanks.
Hasta luego!
But if I had said yes, you would have said you knew I would say that too.
Yes.
It's so stolen.
I suppose I should actually read it. I only know the 42 thing and people are always referencing it. And in fact I really have no idea what it’s about. :)
Nope. This is neither magic trick nor mind game. It was a sincere question you posed. You looked at this VERY eclectic and bizarre thread and couldn't see WTF was the point or what was going on. That is clear. So I hinted that your perceptions, that is, the feeling you got that it WAS off the mark in some quite unusual way, was correct. You have very good gut feel for thing. You don't always know what it means, but it seems you can "tell" something is quite out of sorts.
My post was a direct marker. Nothing more. Nothing less. That's all.
PAX
I think what offended me the most was that your post (on the odd chance that anyone took it seriously) would have doomed many dogs at shelters or in rescue services.
Wonderful dogs that just needed a good home and yet you felt that children were in danger unless the dog was adopted as a puppy.
Frankly, your post was kinda dangerous and loony tunes, but have a nice day.
Whatever you do... do NOT watch the movie... it is terrible.
I do have to say, people get very angry on these dog threads, and there were some very bizarre moments today. I have pretty much decided I’m going to stay out of them from now on. They don’t accomplish anything and in fact, I think probably that some of the people are not convincing lurkers of the things they think they are. However, I don’t really have a dog in the hunt and I’ll just let them fight their own battles, sink or swim.
There was a movie? I had no idea. Must have been so bad they have never even shown it on tv! :)
