A TERRITORY girl is lucky to be alive after she was mauled by a savage dog.
Seven-year-old Meg Croton and her brother Connor, 9, had been feeding their family's dog - an eight-year-old mastiff cross - in their Humpty Doo back yard when the girl was attacked by the vicious hound.
"I tripped on a rock and fell, and I think I kicked his leg," Meg recalled the attack. "And then it hurt very badly and he was on top of me and ripped on my head. "But my brother saved my life."

>Photoshop has made analog cameras pretty much obsolete, as far as Im concerned. <
You could (can) do some pretty amazing stuff with film, actually:

I, too have gone primarily digital. With the proper software, the sky’s the limit as far as manipulation of an image goes.
Picture of child
I wasn't joking about my "art." I'm a natural left-hander, but was "corrected" for years as a toddler until I used my right hand exclusively. Ruined my chance at being the next Rembrandt, Sandy Koufax or Kenny Stabler. LOL
At least you have an excuse. I just have no talent! And admit it. :)
Breaks my heart. That changes the life of that child forever. Emotionally, physically, piece of mind, marriage and future children. Generations, effected, by one instant!
And then there’s the video of the little skank tossing puppies into a river.
Humans hurt kids WAY more than dogs do.
Dontcha think we should stick to that? I sure as heck dont wanna hafta agree with you AGAIN over some point I never made or desired to make. You could probably find we agree on 90% of it. So, lets not play there.
Its this 10%... ATTACK. From a dog that was older and that they did NOT have very long and had an unknown history.<
One part of the dog's present, we know from the article and I quote:
Meg was lucky that he was on his chain and it happened just on the edge of the chain.
If you want one action that increases the likelihood a dog will bite someone, a child in particular, you put that dog on a chain. This dog was NOT a housedog. It was chained, junkyard style, in the back of this family's yard. That makes a huge difference in the entire episode. People who chain dogs need to realize the danger in which they put themselves, not to mention the danger in which they put their children.
Did the dog I photoshopped do this? I thought the dog was Bunnyslipper’s. You’ll need to be clearer with your point.
No it was a thread about dogs and you made a complete fool of yourself on it and continue to post crap.
You are really an embarrassment. I notice you haven't addressed the fact that your posts were removed for threatening others mine was removed for making fun of your tiny boobs. Which is more serious?
You are only here as a proponent of killing adult dogs. This alone makes you scum.
BEST Iron Maiden album.
Granting your statement is true, it's completely irrelevant to the discussion. Dog attacks are not a trivial source of injury. Read this .
little skank tossing puppies
Yep worldwide one video certainly balances out 4.7 million dog bites in the USA alone every year, 1000 a day serious enough to require emergency room treatment.
Our finding that being chained in the yard may be a risk factor for biting is in agreement with prior studies which have demonstrated that chained dogs account for a substantial proportion of serious and fatal dog bites. A dog may be chained as the result of having exhibited aggressive behavior which itself may be a risk factor for biting, rather than chaining somehow causing a dog to bite. One measure of aggressive behavior may be growling or snapping at visitors to the house. Our results, however, showed no significant difference in this behavior for dogs chained while in the yard and those not chained, suggesting that chaining was not likely to have been the result of aggressive behavior.
More to the point did the dog you photoshopped attack the kid in the article? Since I suspect not, then my posting a picture of a child injured is more relevant than your posting a picture of a dog. Everyone knows what dogs look like. Not everyone knows what dog injuries look like.
Whereas you're a proponent of letting dogs maul small children and this makes you not scum? Frankly, good buddy I'd rather see any number of dogs euthanized rather than "rescued" as long as it keeps kids from getting their faces ripped off.
Why don’t you post some pictures of children murdered by their mothers?
Far more mothers kill their children than dogs so why don’t you post this?

Further why don’t you advocate getting rid of mothers?
I was reading the Daily Mail yesterday then came over to FR. There was an article on FR about "dog mauling" and someone said something "not only pitbulls attack" or something like that.
I posted the link to this article about a Border Collie:

Oops, here’s the live link:
So from wishing to kill dogs you dislike to killing people you dislike how far of a stretch is it?
The dogs you wish to kill are a breed you dislike. Kill ‘em all, right?
So tell me, Jeeves.. are there human breeds you dislike?
Should they be killed off too?
Or does the way they are raised matter at all?
No? All Pit Bulls are evil? All Dobermans?
Fine, kill ‘em all. They’re a bad breed right?
How about Jews? Black folks? What about them?
Uh huh. Okay, thanks for telling me about your feelings. Pardon me if I have no real reaction. I suspect that kid was kicking the dog, and I said so. And that's really all there is to it.
BTW, my original post was # 6, very early in the thread. I did not post a picture until minutes ago when there was a suggestion that it was mine.
