SPRINGFIELD Effingham County sheriff deputies have reported the early Sunday morning arrest of three men to the federal Joint Terrorism Task Force.
The men, two from Russia and one from Kazakhstan, were found near Georgia Powers Plant McIntosh on Old Augusta Road about 1 a.m. Sunday after a ranger with the Department of Natural Resources reported a suspicious vehicle, Effingham County sheriffs spokesman David Ehsanipoor said.

Hmmm? I would like to interview them, see what they were up to.
Good points all! They were living in Charleston SOUTH CAROLINA. This is no copper wire deal. More snippets:
“Deputies reported the men, who were inside a 1995 Nissan Pathfinder, had a machete, shovel, wire cutters and ski masks. One man also had black silk stockings in his front left pocket.”
Do you really need a machete to steal copper wire or to chop heads off?
Yeah, besides, Georgia is full of Tea Party conservative cracka bitter clingers.
They have enough "light". Time to be ruled by the "dark".
shovel ready infrastructure
“...Veddy nize.”

I guess it was just too much for MSM reporter DeAnn Komanecky and any of the editors at Savannah Now to take the 60 seconds required to look up Fort Stewart, or chase down Islamic connections, or chase down the homeland security aspects of this case, and write about it in her article.

“Fort Stewart is ideally situated and resourced to support the training and deployability requirements of the 3d Infantry Division (Mechanized). The reservation
‘s 280,000 acres provide the division’s soldiers unequaled training opportunities. Stretching over five counties, Fort Stewart is the largest installation east of the Mississippi River. The reservation can accommodate training for 50,000 reserve component soldiers annually. ....
“In August 1990, Iraq invaded and overran neighboring Kuwait and threatened to do the same to Saudi Arabia. The Port of Savannah worked around the clock to load and ship the Divisions heavy equipment, while aircraft shuttles from Hunter Field flew the Divisions personnel to Saudi Arabia. Within a month the entire Division had been reassembled in Saudi Arabia to face the possible invasion of that country by Iraqi forces. Fort Stewart saw a growing influx of National Guard and Reserve units who were being mobilized to support the operations in Saudi Arabia and to assume the tasks at the post which had formerly been accomplished by Division personnel. In many ways, Fort Stewart appeared to be almost a ghost town, as never before has the entire Division been deployed from the post at one time. Within eight months the crisis in the Persian Gulf had concluded and the 24th Infantry Division triumphantly returned to its home in coastal GA.”
And then report your findings to DeAnn Koomanecky and her editorial staff at Savannah Now?

We should have never threatened to burn their book. We have bought this on ourselves. (sarc/off)
That's probably the way the administration would like to spin it.
Okay, how come your Cyrillic looks okay, but my copy and paste of it doesn’t?
1 AM Sunday? Almost a week ago?
Is this correct?
The last two are Tatars. Most Tatars are Muslims.
But I don't think their religion had anything to do with this. They probably don't believe in any supreme being anyway. They were just trying to steal something.
Rich, money grubbing Joooooz giving poor, hard working Germanic Mennonites a bad name by stealing copper wire to turn into jooooolery to make themselves even richer, and blaming it on honest Aryans. /sarc>
Wish I knew! Mine seemed to transfer pretty well. How’d I do for accuracy?
I only knew a couple of words, but it seemed to translate as “Domestic Terrorists” and something about Tea Party. My Russian is very rusty.
