Sorry folks, I got 2 birth certificates mixed up, my fault.
I think you are confusing the circustances surrounding Obama's birth in 1961 with Stanley Ann's birth in 1942. I was referring to Stanley Ann's BC, not to BO's.
Four of the six buildings were completed and opened in September 1962: Edmondson Hall (a four-story building containing classrooms and laboratories), Kennedy Theatre (an 800-seat theatre), Hale Kuahine (a four-story women's dormitory for 120 students), and Lincoln Hall (a four-story residence hall for senior scholars and faculty).[16] The other two buildings: Jefferson Hall (a four-story conference center, cafeteria, and administrative office building) and Hale Manoa (a 13-story men's dormitory for 480 students) were completed and opened in September 1963.[17] "Seien" (Serene Garden), a Japanese garden designed by Kenzo Ogata of Tokyo, and located behind Jefferson Hall, was a 1963 gift of Japanese business leaders; the Japanese tea house Chashitsu Jakuan (Cottage of Tranquility) in the garden was presented to the university in 1972 by Sen Sōshitsu, the 15th-generation grand tea master of the Urasenke Foundation.[18]
Only one problem: I could never find where the East-West Centre was mentioned in Dreams From My Father. It mentions 'Russian Class' - the East-West Centre must have been a later, obot invention.
I agree. Makes sense.
Thanks. Interesting. Wonder where the specific mention of “East-West Center” originated.
Yes, your right, got caught up in all the discussion , my fault, sorry folks.
Norkdyke worked there and mentioned it in some connection I can’t remember.
...obots plugging holes is my guess...
Well, that would be ok for many applications, but not things like passports, so I do find it interesting...
Well, all I know is that when our son was 16 and I referred to him as an *infant* he NEVER would’ve bought the fact that it’s a British term.
Curious, wouldn’t mother fill out BC or provide the information that is submitted to go on BC? I know I did...
Think you spoke too soon—nearly 100 posts and some interesting info...
...the correspondence regarding extensions of the period that Lolo was permitted to remain in Hawaii commenced shortly after his study period ran out in 1963, and continued in one form or another for a number of years. To follow all that, you would need to read both the Stanley Ann and Lolo Soetoro material released.
If they married in early 1965, the child referred to would have been not yet four years of age, so if he is referred to as an infant, it would not surpise me.
There’s only one way to be sure. Read the material. Links provided above.
He’s not an atheist. You insult us atheists.
No way would I claim to be a believer. Think about it, he would admit he was an atheist if he was. He has proudly claimed his parents were. It’s not like he would think he’d be rejected for being an atheist, especially as a liberal.
He seems so much more like a muslim to me.
I just detest him so much.
Like Angelina Jolie?
If BO was only 4 years old I could understand the term "infant". But according to what was posted, in 1967 he would've been 5 or 6. As Candor7 explained it seems the proper term was "infant". It just sounds strange to me. But everything about BO is strange.
Anyone know where BP2 is? Was he banned for good or just suspended?
Many people still consider Obie to be acting like a baby even though he is (possibly) 49 years old...
Bump for later
