Add Angelina Jolie to the growing list of voices opposing a plan by a Florida pastor to burn the Muslim holy book on September 11.
"I have hardly the words," she told reporters in Islamabad, Pakistan, to describe actions "that somebody would do that to somebody's religious book."
Jolie, who is in Pakistan to highlight the plight of flood victims in the country, was asked if she supported Pastor Terry Jones's planned Koran-burning. She answered, "Of course not. Of course not," and praised the response from some U.S. officials who condemned any such action.

What I can't believe is that conservatives are willing to accept that idea that islam can be appeased...that it can somehow be encouraged to join the modern world.

Have we fallen so much in our understanding of personal property rights that we think we can tell other private citizens what to go do with their money if they want to spend some of their money to make apolitical statement in their own way?

I also have no desire to do something ignorant that changes NOTHING for the better. It will give sympathy to Muslims, a black eye to Christians and put innocent people in harms way.
If someone REALLY wanted to do something to stop Islam then I would encourage it and would I would know that there would be unavoidable casualties.
