The cases against the owners of three pit bulls that attacked a 6-year-old girl are going to Circuit Court.
District Judge Michael Klaeren found this morning there was probable cause to believe Brian Keith Nace, 35, and his girlfriend, Jasmine Bailey, 19, kept dangerous animals that caused serious injury.
Their dogs reportedly played tug of war with Tyah Norris the afternoon of Aug. 24 inside Nace and Baileys fenced yard at 118 Mantle Ave. in Blackman Township, testified Animal Control Officer Kathie Chapin.
As a result, township public safety Officer Randy Hengesbaugh could not distinguish any of Tyahs facial features when he got to Mantle Avenue and Hickory Street on Aug. 24, Hengesbaugh said.

Monsters.
Why do 35-year-old plus pitbull owners always have teen girlfriends?
This woman actually has the face of a pitbull so maybe that’s why he was attracted to her.
I once told a girl (I thought I was paying her a compliment) that she had the face of Sarah Jessica Parker. Not the body, no, no, just the FACE. I about got me ripped a new one. :O)
EXACTLY the kind of folks that should be owning a viscious animal!

It’s more of a dealer/junkie or pimp/prostitute relationship.
Dogs of pieces....
Yup, They look like typical Pitt bull owners.
Why was the pit bull trying to keep her from going to circuit court?
Its.
And why is it always a shack-up arrangement?
I understand your point, but I would bet dollars to doughnuts that this pair was using these dogs as fighters.
Miss Jasmine looks unhappy that they’re taking her picture.
Pit bull owners are generally from the lower classes. Their attitude? “I may be on the bottom of the totem pole economically but on this sidewalk you are going to get off.” As for the fences-property dwellers have a special responsibility for children.
Having a fenced-in backyard for keeping dogs sounds responsible enough for me. It was a horrible accident, and we are too quick to accuse the dogs’ owners. IMHO, it is a parents’ responsibility to supervise their children, which had failed in this case.
