John Lennon's killer will continue watching the wheels go round from behind bars after being denied parole Tuesday for a sixth time.

Mark David Chapman met with a three-member Parole Board panel at the Attica Correctional Facility via video conference.

Chapman was sentenced to 20 years to life in prison after he was convicted of shooting the ex-Beatle four times outside his apartment on Dec. 8, 1980. He has served nearly 30 years of his sentence.

Chapman is next eligible to try for parole in two years. He was first eligible for parole in 2000.

Lennon's widow, Yoko Ono, had reiterated her desire to the Parole Board that Chapman be kept behind bars.

Lennon, who would have turned 70 next month, was shot to death by Chapman while returning to his famed Dakota building apartment across from Central Park after a late-night recording session.

He wasn’t executed?

Imagine no heaven, imagine no hell, imagine love all around, imagine letting the guy go! Why not? John would have wanted it, wouldn’t he?

He should have been executed for not also shooting Yoko.

He wasn’t ‘programed’ for that.

He should have said Yoko pushed John in front of her.

Still wouldn’t shock me if one day they find out Yoko and Chapman were in cahoots.

All the liberal Lennon fans want Chapman to “rot in prison”, but are perfectly fine with allowing killers of the less hip and glamorous, to serve hideously lenient jail sentences.

I think he should have gotten a community service award.

Well, I’m all for keeping killers behind bars as long as possible, but the simple fact of the matter is that if the “voices in his head” had told him to kill Joe the construction worker instead of John Lennon, he would have been paroled 20 years ago. I guess some of us animals are more equal than others...

Howard Cosell is the one that told us during a Monday Night Football game. On a side note, I miss Don Meredith.

Yep. Mark didn’t even get the death penalty yet there are liberals who could “justify” it in his case. Yet they were much more forgiving recently of the yute who spent 17 years on death row for a gang rape and slaying of 2 teenage girls. They didn’t want to see him executed (no doubt of his guilt in the case and he was a snotty gang member who was proud of his actions at the time).

That was the allegation towards Courtney Love and Kurt’s death.

The politically incorrect, straight-shooting Texan, was pretty much the only guy who could keep EgoMouth Cosell under control.

Want to really punish the guy? Give him a week of listening to Yoko sing...if you can call it that.

That would be considered "Cruel and Unusual Punishment."

John Lennon was actually starting to see the light at the end of his life.

He bought NYCPD bullet proof vests with his own money, and was beginning to understand the paramount importance of being a responsible parent. His magnificent “Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy)” is among the best songs ever written about fatherhood.
