CAROLINE KENNEDY is so ticked off at the OBAMAs she coldly snubbed them during the family's recent vacation to Martha's Vineyard, sources tell The ENQUIRER.
After working hard to elect President Obama, Caroline was widely expected to host the first family at her sprawling Red Gate Farm on the island, as the Kennedys did the Clintons when they were in the White House.
Instead, when the Obamas recently relaxed on Martha's Vineyard, they ended up renting the same place as last year, Blue Heron Farm in the town of Chilmark.
Caroline's blatant cold-shoulder treatment is evidence of the bad blood that has developed between the former close friends, say Kennedy family insiders.
Caroline, 52, is still bitter over the fact that President Obama has refused to make her part of his inner circle of advisers or to give her a plum appointment in his administration, maintained the friend.
"She feels that he just hasn't been appreciative enough, especially after she and her family's endorsement was key in helping him win the Democratic nomination over Hillary Clinton.
"It was a real personal sacrifice. In so doing, she wrecked her relationship with the Clintons, who up till then had been close with the Kennedys."

It's understandable, I suppose--the benefits of believing it are enormous to her--but apparently Caroline has actually believed the blarney about "Camelot".

A Democratic source said Clinton would be dead-set against seeing Caroline take her seat.
“Why would she want to see that seat go to someone who essentially double-crossed her?” the source said, noting the Kennedy family’s endorsement of Obama in the primary. “It’s a nightmare scenario for her.”

When the New York Post pursued a story about antics (Kennedy-type antics) involving her then 18-year-old daughter, Caroline went to Rupert Murdoch’s primary aide, Gary Ginsberg, formerly her brother John’s right-hand-man, who went to Murdoch, who quashed the Post’s story. In turn, she wrote a letter to Brearley, the private school in Manhattan where she sits on the board, when Murdoch’s daughter, Grace, was applying for kindergarten there.
Likewise, when Murdoch wanted an audience with Barack Obama, he went through Caroline (who, at that moment, was riding with Barack Obama in his car). All this is not in any way an indictment of her insiderism. Indeed, the attraction to her is precisely because she seems like the ultimate insider, the person who most knows the truth about power and celebrity, and the darkness of American public life (everybody else has to claw their way to insider status, compromising themselves as they climb the pole—she was born inside).
Her father was assassinated. Her mother died of cancer. Her brother died in a plane crash. From all accounts her marriage is a sham.
You want her to worry about her face?
Usually I have a lot to say (too much, sometimes) but all I can do about this Obama-Kennedy-Clinton hate triangle is ROFLOL, and buy more popcorn.

The Kennedy women do not age well. They all become ugly and uglier as they age. Look at Awnol’s wife as an example of many.

whoa, that’s quite a pity party you have set up there for caroline. she is free to worry about her face or not, but she looks a hell of a lot older than her age because of the wrinkles. and i AM her age!
Sipping drinks with umbrellas, pool side in the sun for 30 years. Living rich with Irish skin has its rewards.
Too much sun. Not enough protein in the diet. But good grief. There are plenty of products that can slow the march of time, and she has enough money to go to the finest doctors. I’m not saying she (or they) should look like 20-year-olds, or like Joan Rivers, but it is not unreasonable to expect them to take care of themselves. Caroline’s mother certainly did.
Uh, oh. Maybe Caroline *has something* on BO that she’d like to share with us. Or maybe the Kennedy’s don’t have the clout they once did now that Uncle Teddy is gone.
I’m not sure I care if there’s a rift between them but it’s fun to speculate!

Jesus died to save us from our sins. Mary Jo died and saved us from Ted Kennedy as president. Her death was tragic, but at least it had a silver lining.

I agree with what you are saying. But there is something that flummoxes me. It has forever. It is the following:
I have lived most of my life in the Republic of Panama where we live 9 degrees from the equator...direct sun most of the time. We stay out of the sun. The heck with tans, etc. There is also skin cancers added because of too much sun.
Getting tan is not a sign of beauty here in Panama. Knowing what the sun can do, it is a sign of stupidity….Forgive me for being so blunt.
