Good catch on that image.

Because the connective tissue that defines the compartment does not stretch, a small amount of bleeding into the compartment, or swelling of the muscles within the compartment, can cause the pressure to rise greatly. Common causes of compartment syndrome include tibial or forearm fractures, ischemic reperfusion following injury, hemorrhage, vascular puncture, intravenous drug injection, casts, prolonged limb compression, crush injuries and burns.[4][5] Another possible cause can be the use of creatine monohydrate; a history of creatine use has been linked to this condition.[6][7] Compartment syndrome can also occur following surgery in the Lloyd Davis lithotomy position, where the patient's legs are elevated for prolonged periods. As of February 2001, any surgery that is expected to take longer than six hours to complete must include Compartment Syndrome on its list of post-operative complications. The Lloyd Davis lithotomy position can cause extra pressure on the calves and on the pneumatic pressure Flowtron boots worn by the patient.

When compartment syndrome is caused by repetitive use of the muscles, as in a cyclist, it is known as chronic compartment syndrome (CCS).[8][9] This is usually not an emergency, but the loss of circulation can cause temporary or permanent damage to nearby nerves and muscles.

They opened up the leg, sucked out poor Barry Dunham, and stuffed Mao Tse-Dung inside his skin.

Obama has never disclosed his medical history. However, it is well known that during his first year after college, he went with a college friend, a Pakistani, to Pakistan, while working for a company called Business Corporation International.

  Barack Obama

In the late summer of 1983, future United States President Barack Obama interviewed for a job at Business International Corporation. He worked there for "little more than year."[3] As a research associate in its financial services division, he edited Financing Foreign Operations, a global reference service, and wrote for Business International Money Report, a weekly financial newsletter.[4] His responsibilities included "interviewing business experts, researching trends in foreign exchange, following market developments. . . . He wrote about currency swaps and leverage leases. . . . Obama also helped write financial reports on Mexico and Brazil.[5]

CIA

The company has been identified as cover organization for the Central Intelligence Agency, e.g. see Lobster Magazine, issue 14 in 1987. According to a lengthy article in the New York Times in 1977, the co-founder of the company told the newspaper that "Eldridge Haynes [the other founder] had provided cover for four CIA employees in various countries between 1955 and 1960".[6]

Is it possible Obama suffered these serious injuries while serving in the CIA in Pakistan, under cover as an employee of BCI? That could certainly explain a history of the unexplained serious injuries that these photos represent.

Compartment Syndrome and Lower-Limb Fasciotomies in the Combat Environment

a LTC Kevin L. Kirk, DO, Chief, Integrated Orthopedic Surgery Service San Antonio Military Medical Center, San Antonio, Texas; Assistant Professor, Baylor University, School of Graduate Studies, Houston, Texas

b Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Warren Alpert School of Medicine, Brown University, Providence, RI, USA

c Orthopedic Trauma, Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, RI 02905, USA

Available online 25 February 2010.

Prophylactic and therapeutic treatment of leg compartment syndrome with decompression by double-incision fasciotomy prevents progression of soft-tissue injury in high-energy trauma. This treatment is the standard of care in civilian trauma and combat settings. More controversial is the use of either single- or dual-incision fasciotomy of the foot for prophylactic treatment of foot compartment syndrome. Fasciotomy must be performed in the face of major trauma to the foot with severe swelling and unremitting pain. The role for prophylactic fasciotomy of the foot is unclear and should be considered on a case by case basis. The surgeon must maintain a high degree of vigilance for the development of compartment syndrome in the combat casualty.

Several things can cause that type of wasting or its appearance:

(1) An old scar from an old injury.

(2) AIDS-related muscular wasting.

(3) Heroin (muscles and connective tissue waste away leaving permanent damage even after someone “goes clean”).

(4) Certain types of chemo drugs.

(5) Just bad lighting.

(6) Photoshop

Others...
