Kanye West has apologised to Taylor Swift for ruining her 2009 Video Music Awards (VMAs) acceptance speech.
The rapper wrote on Twitter: 'I'm sorry, Taylor. We're both artists, and the media and managers are trying to get between us.
'She deserves the apology more than anyone. She had no idea what hit her. She's just a lil girl with dreams like the rest of us. Taylor and her family friends and fans definitely didn't want or need that.'
West went on to discuss the backlash he had faced following his behaviour at the VMAs.
'There are people who don't dislike me, they absolutely hate me. People tweeted that they wish I was dead. No, listen. They wanted me to die, people. I carry that.'
But the hip-hop star admitted that the episode had allowed him to grow up.
'I would never ever again in a million years do that. Sorry to let you down.'
Those people knew what was coming and let those poor people take the full brunt of nature's wrath.
Then this idiot comes on TV and makes it a racial issue.

The little runt made it big sampling Ray Charles and hasn’t done anything but embarass himself since. He’s just too juvenile, self-absorbed and dumb as a rock to know it.
It was a PR stunt gone bad, like a “wardrobe malfunction” involving your mouth, Kanye. You don’t even like women, in any sense. Might as well get over yourself and go away, the music buying public already has.
I hope she doesn’t answer him. This guy has some sort of mental illness, I’m pretty sure.
I think West, like all rappers, should apologize for being an untalented schmuck who has made millions.
Artists like Kanye and the Dixie Chicks who want to use their celebrity to influence politics should not be surprised when they piss off half of their potential audience. It’s a no-brainer, STFU.

And then, in his typical fashion, he goes on to make it all about himself.

Since I don’t have a clue to what he “did”, this makes no sense.
It’s more fun that way.
Is this POS for real? West isn’t an “artist”- he is a beneficiary of a mode of entertainment that allows the untalented to scam the stupid and get a lot of money. He is rude, ignorant and disgraceful. I am sure that Miss Swift will be gracious, but then she should file it behind the clock with all the other garbage she may have attracted over time.

Kanye West is just jealous he’s not a pretty young talented white girl.
He bounded out of the audience and took over Taylor’s mic when she was accepting an award, and carried on about how Beyonce should have won instead of Taylor.
Like Michael Jackson.
Swift shoulda clothes lined him.
