Maybe my memory is defective, that is happening more and more these days. Unfortunately, my opinions are derived from my memory, defective or not. A good Christian would humor me.

I wasn't asking whether or not you remembered something, so there is no need for humor.

I asked for you OPINION on a few issues, here they are again:

I remember about three and a half years ago when a bunch of long-time FReepers were pushing Rudy and complaining that conservatives had had their "feet on the neck" of the GOP for too long. Were the Rooty Rooters conservative?

Is belief in the sanctity of human life a conservative view or is it just a Christian belief?

Is belief in the sanctity of marriage a conservative view or is it just a Christian belief?

OK then. I would answer conservative to both of those questions. I am a strict-constructionist...a true believer of the Constitution. John Adams was our first liberal president and he royally screwed things up when he packed the courts after his loss to Jefferson. He appointed Marbury, of Marbury v. Madison that gave all power to the Supreme Court. I’m sorry if I didn’t answer your question...if not, please reiterate and I’ll try to focus.

Oops, missed the first question... Conservative is defined differently by different people. Rudy is not conservative by my definition, but my definition is far stricter than most.
