OK then. I would answer conservative to both of those questions. I am a strict-constructionist...a true believer of the Constitution. John Adams was our first liberal president and he royally screwed things up when he packed the courts after his loss to Jefferson. He appointed Marbury, of Marbury v. Madison that gave all power to the Supreme Court. I’m sorry if I didn’t answer your question...if not, please reiterate and I’ll try to focus.

Congress passed what was known as the "Midnight Judges" Act which Adams signed and William Marbury was appointed to a five year term as a justice of the peace. I fail to see how this makes Adams a liberal.

Then why do you oppose Christian influence on conservatism?

The GOP was founded on TWO conservative Christian issues: the belief that slavery was immoral and barbaric and the belief in the sanctity of marriage.
