My experience wit the Pit Bulls I have known is they would probably love you to death.
Previous owner ran out of cats...
“Previous owner ran out of cats...”
That’s a kneeslapper! And you, null and void, are a rascal! ;oD
Pits don't have locking jaws.
Just some old BS wives tale.
I laughed harder at your post than I did at the original comment. :)
She shut the dog in the shed.
~~~
Shot the dawg in the head ?,,,No wait...
In other news, 6,783,371 American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, Staffordshire Terriers, Bull Terriers, Miniature Bull Terriers, American Bulldogs, Alapaha (Georgia) Blue-blood Bulldogs and Olde English Bulldogges ... bit nothing more than Milkbone biscuits on this day in history.
This is impossible because pit bulls were bred to be such nice friendly doggies.
Oh, wait......
That's a pit full of bull.
They are fearless, and genetically inclined toward deadly aggressiveness if something trips their trigger.
It probably would not be a bad idea, as a public service, to develop statistics...with pictures of mauled children's faces...to substantiate the public risk the breed presents and require that owners register them with acknowledgment of the breed's history, and pay a fee for a special license.
Maybe even require owners to carry liability insurance.
I'm a dog lover, but Pit Bulls are a menace to society.
Two words decribe this guy.
Id iot.
She was describing the actions of the dog, not providing an anatomical detail. The pit bull locked onto his arm and would not let go.. She did not say the pit bulls jaw locked into place.
A love nip to the bone.
“He never did that before.”
It’s too bad, these people thought they were doing a good thing, only for it to come back and bite them.
Seriously, they were trying to help a neglected dog. Shelter probably should not have let it up for adoption so soon.
This is impossible because pit bulls were bred to be such nice friendly doggies
So when are they gonna learn?
My guess is never
Maybe you could compile the statistics for other breeds, while you’re at it...
Absolutely.
How else to prove the point regarding the clearly heightened danger that exists with Pit Bulls to be indisputable?
And then limbs!
I think you're probably addressing one of the "Pit Bulls are misunderstood snuggle puppies" deniers.
Don't expect reasonableness.
