I have been going online today to various news outlets and they all differ on the gulf oil platform that blew up today.
I heard it was a submarine missle shot from either North Korean or George Soros
It’s the ‘age of Obama’. We never will know the truth.
Some reporters don’t know the difference between “How deep is the water?” and “How deep is the well?”....
16 years of Bush and Clinton and no accidents in the Gulf. In 4 months The Imam has two explosions? His bosses in Saudi Arabia want US oil production shut down. I guess all those nat gas finds around america and the huge reserves we have are getting them worried.
No rig accidents in the Gulf for 16 years? Don’t you think that is a bit of a stretch?
But seriously North Korea makes money selling miniature submarines to all sorts of folks. All they need is a "tender" offshore that looks like a fishing boat.
The trick is not to dive to the bottom of the ocean and blow something up ~ it's just to get underwater deep enough to evade ordinary detection then get close enough to your target to plant a remote controlled mine or IED.
The Coast Guard and Navy should be out there checking out the approaches to that rig ~ as recorded by our spy satellites.
Obama’s suit against the Moratorium got thrown out. so, a few of his thugs went out and blew it up.
Calls for a new moratorium in 3...2...1...
Not exactly...
Didn't say whether oil or Gas wells.
A crew was doing sandblasting and painting on the production platform....no oilspill or even an oil sheen....
Further details he didn't have.
Hell, that rule alone could reduce the number of posts by 190%.
I’ve read 2500 feet. I’ve read 300 feet. I’ve read one missing in the water. I’ve read all the water. I’ve read the rig was in production. I’ve read not in production. See where I’m going with this?
This could probably use your input.
A fire was started while a maintenance crew was working. Likely no explosion. Definitely has nothing to do with drilling or production.
Also, I am glad you referred to it as a platform and not a rig. AP’s intial headline was Rig Explosion, which is patently untrue, because this was a platform, not a rig.
They are aging wells, I’m surprised that there aren’t more rig accidents. So many different factors trying to control mother nature.
???
If there was an explosion, which has not been proven yet, it would have happened on top of the platform. So a sub would either have to have a really cool torpedo that goes out of the water and hits a target, which someone would have seen, or the sub would have to get close, then a guy would climb all the way up the platform and strap a mine on top without beeing seen.
Lets be rational.
Rumor has it that it was Bush’s Fault
Gee, less than 50 years ago you wouldn’t have even known there was a rig explosion until tomorrow morning.
Not every rig has a PAO (Public affairs officer) on it, ready to deal with Fox News.
The dust will settle, so to speak, and details will come out.
