BJJ is fun, but if you’re talking about self-defense, it’s time for Krav Maga.
Don’t see Krav Maga dominating UFC. Sorry.
Then again, maybe in Krav Maga all the moves are illegal in competition so you don’t see it . . . so maybe it is the way to go. Don’t know much about it other than Israeli defense forces use it. The thing that impresses me most about BJJ is that most fights between men do end up on the ground, and it’s the only fighting style I’ve ever seen where the smaller guy can win on the ground.
