One of the trapped Chilean miners is dreading his rescue after his wife met his secret mistress at the entrance to the San Jose mine, The Sun reported Thursday.

Yonni Barrios' wife, Marta Salinas, and Barrios' lover, Susana Valenzuela, were both holding vigils for him outside the mine.

Salinas was stunned when she heard Valenzuela shouting his name amid a crowd of miners' loved ones.

Usually the wife is taken aback when she hears the other woman shouting the man's name, as she enters their boudoir...

The only thing worse than this would be if the miner’s mistress was a minor!

I bet this guy was worried about them meeting before it happened.

Within a couple of hours of being trapped, he probably starting realizing he was in trouble.

In a cavern, in a canyon,
Excavating for a mine
Dwelt a miner forty niner,
And his darling Clementine.

Oh my darling, oh my darling,
Oh my darling, Clementine!
Thou art lost and gone forever
Dreadful sorry, Clementine

Dumb ol’ Yonnie had a wife and a mistress
hoping they would never meet some time

Oh my darling, oh my darling,
Oh my darling, Susana!
I am lost and gone forever
Dreadful sorry, Marta too.

Nasa has experience with crews in isolated spaces.

They also know about feeding and nutrition.

Think failure is not an option.

So who’s going to be charged with contributing to the delinquency of a miner?

Boy, being trapped in a mine comes with a lot of problems that aren’t obvious. One guy has already been forced into proposing marriage, and another guy’s wife and mistress have met.

But the miners -- who may not be drilled out until Christmas

I'm thinking by Christmas, both women will have found alternative entertainment.

Why are NASA physicians helping the Chilean miners?

1. A bit of assistance to a friendly country during a high-profile situation is generally good politics.

2. NASA has an obvious interest in studying how to keep people alive and sane when they're cooped up in close quarters in an extended crisis situation.

Must have something to do with NASA’s experience with people confined to small spaces for extended periods of time.....
