One of the trapped Chilean miners is dreading his rescue after his wife met his secret mistress at the entrance to the San Jose mine, The Sun reported Thursday.
Yonni Barrios' wife, Marta Salinas, and Barrios' lover, Susana Valenzuela, were both holding vigils for him outside the mine.
Salinas was stunned when she heard Valenzuela shouting his name amid a crowd of miners' loved ones.
Salinas, 56, is said to be "horrified". However, she is determined not to give up her man to her love rival.

Reminds me of the toast the Stapleton crew used during their trip to the Antartic. “To our wives and sweethearts, may they never meet.”

Salinas is his wife - she can legally “dally” with a miner

Meanwhile, the captives have been hit with an alcohol and tobacco ban by National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) experts helping the rescue. I must've missed something here. Why are NASA physicians helping the Chilean miners? I don't necessarily object (unless it's part of that Muslim outreach thing), but this just isn't making any sense to me. Maybe another cup of coffee will help...

It would be preferable to dealing with an angry Chilean wife and mistress. He's not deep enough.

We had a sad case at one of my stations where the wife of one coastie was killed in a head on collision with the husband of another coastie. At the hospital the guy was in serious shape. His wife ran into his other wife who had also been contacted. Turned out the other wife was still married to him when he married the coastie so that marriage wasn't legal and therefore the medical benefits he would have gotten as a dependant weren't valid.

"I must've missed something here. Why are NASA physicians helping the Chilean miners?...this just isn't making any sense to me." If you have that coffee it will make a lot of sense. Early on, I heard that NASA was quite interested in this situation since it would be an opportunity to study the effects of long term isolation.

And so it went on for a fortnight; till a big wind blew off the top of the tree, and opened up the hole and let in the rain.
Then Timmy Tiptoes came out, and went home with an umbrella.
But Chippy Hackee continued to camp out for another week, although it was uncomfortable.

If she really wants to make his life a living hell, she has until Christmas to become best friends with the mistress. Then, dump him.

Y'all owe me a keyboard. The comments here are so funny and clever.
And if I were the wife of this guy I would be sure to be at the opening when they bring these fellows out. And with a swift kick I would send that husband back down the shaft.
