I’m pretty sure those weren’t the issues the ‘new study’ had in mind.

That depends on your attitude toward your fellow man.

You might think that such a revelation would encourage you to rethink your beliefs.

WHY? Is argumentum ad populum now an official mantra of the academic elite? Oh wait... it is.

1) I continually rethink (or, more correctly, think about) all of my beliefs.

2) None of my beliefs are determined by their “popularity”. In other words, what I believe can be influenced by new information and my own thinking, but what I believe is NEVER put up to be voted on by “society”.

No control for cultural differences between Spain and USA?

I wonder - at what point would the authors admit to a cultural difference. Must one be a hunter gatherer, or Islamofascist - in order for culture to color the reponses?

I wonder how much tax money was used to fund this “research”.

You might think that such a revelation would encourage you to rethink your beliefs.

Sure, if you form your 'strong opinions' based on nothing more than a desire to fit in with others, I guess you would.

What would happen if you developed a strong opinion on an issue, and later found that the majority of people disagreed with you? You might think that such a revelation would encourage you to rethink your beliefs.

I get it.

If you don't act like a sheep, you're stoopid.
