That's not my beef with all this, my issue is that Katrina did damage all over - some received more destruction than others with its shear force.
These tribute shows all center around NO, where Katrina's category force didn't do the harm, the inadequate levy system did and alot of rain....but nary is the talk about lessons learned in engineering or where does funding go when it doesn't build walls.
It's all about the destruction of Katrina - and it's all focused on one city that in retrospect didn't get the brunt - if everyone in the city put their garden hose into the lake and turned them on the same thing could of happened (exaggeration) - would there be a special "The great garden hose disaster" - yearly? Maybe so, Mrs. O'Leary's Cow got the press in Chicago...the Cow in all this today is named Katrina - a cover up in that city to what really went terribly wrong.
It doesn’t matter anymore. I’ve also removed myself from my location of origin where people threw rocks, missiles, etc. at rescuers who appeared in the projects to put out fires. Get over it.
Location of origin? Projects? Fires? I have no idea what you are talking about. You made a previous comment about snipers shooting at rescuers in the aftermath of the storm. You asked for something that could refute it. I posted an article that does just that and now you tell me to get over it? You seem confused.
That’s why you might find Harry Shearer’s doc. on Kat. interesting.
“Id like a source of the attack on your co-workers so that I can do a little research.”

You can start there.
Since there were eyewitness accounts in this CNN report, it most likely is accurate. I do know however that in the early days after the storm, there were many reports that later proved not to be true and those ranged from numerous shots being fired at rescue helicopters, to rapes and wholesale murder going on in the Superdome. The article that I posted a few days ago, and that I again link below, cites those people in a position to really know what happened in its contradicting of those earlier reports.
No one who was not in New Orleans, and I include myself as my family and I were in a hotel in Birmingham for three weeks watching hometown events unfold on the television, can know for certain all of what transpired in the days after Katrina. I must rely on others for that information and hope that I am getting the true story.
