Most well known constants are variables.
Even those used in quantum physics.
Many of the variables, appear to us as constants because of our limit of precision.
There is no such thing as the BIGGEST, or SMALLEST.
There is only bigger and smaller.
Math is hard. Sun feels good.....

This is more serious than semantic differentials. Things that change the rates of radioactive decay can do all sorts of stuff ~ like take away our ability to measure the flow of time.
