Since I haven't been proud to be an American since November 2nd, 2008, their new album reaching #4 on the US chart makes me proud to be one again.

I totally don’t listen to this music, but their drummer, Nico McBrain is a Christian and in fact attended our church. He also showed up once as the praise band drummer. Cool.

Every time I hear the name Iron Maiden I always think of Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure.

Put them in the Iron Maiden.

It’s a solid album. Good tour too. Maiden, older than dirt and still kickin butt.

Rock and Roll PING
So how much radio airplay (outside of Z-Rock) has Iron Maiden received over the decades?
Grammys?
And they can still hit #1.
Big Media is not amused.

Maiden bump.
Saw them at the Holmdel NJ Performing Arts Center 7/11. They didn't do enough of the classics but it was a great show nonetheless.

I’ll be looking forward to hearing their new album. Their last one, A Matter of Life and Death, was top notch!
To: wastedyears
Saw them in '82 and '84 and have my ticket for the 2011 sound wave festival which they are headlining here in Adelaide.
Can't wait!

My contention for years is that there have only ever been four heavy metal bands:
Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and Motorhead. Everyone else just copies them.
