You know, I don't like what the woman did.

But even more I don't like the fact that surveillance in the Western world has gotten to the point that everything is watched. That is the true horror here.

And that these infractions such as this cat incident, or the woman who urinated on a monument are touted as needed to keep up the surveillance.

Why shouldn’t I be allowed to set up surveillance outside my home if I want to, to see who comes and goes at my front door? I had friends whose neighbors were causing them problems night and day only they couldn’t prove it until they got actual footage of them, caught redhanded. Perhaps they have had trouble with someone before.
