The dog was found at the backdoor in the kitchen, pulled from the building with minor burns and initially had a respiratory rate of 40+. Firefighters performed rescue breathing for approx. 12 minutes and as you can see survived. The owner was not home at the time so they decided to bring the dog back to the firehouse for dinner and water.

Proof positive that there are still people in this world who perform awesome good deeds and value life, even if it is the life of a four-legged variety critter. God bless that firefighter in the photo. If this is the way he cared for that poor dog, then I can only imagine the care and love he has for his two-legged variety loved ones.
