If she didn’t get there in 30 minutes or less, was she free?

I guess she was. She didn’t initially cost me a thing. Except a week’s worth of sleep. She was always awake at 6 am and bouncing around the house if she didn’t get taken for a walk. Now, she’s a teenager (or because it’s summer)and sleeps in with my daughter (*gasp* she’s my daughter’s roommate) until about 8 or 9.
