The Tibetan culture is dead in Lhasa.It survives on the vast plains of the Changthang and in the isolated valleys of the Khampas. What you see these days is the Disney World of Tibetan culture, where the caged Tibetans are allowed out of their zoo for a stroll ocasionally, to jump through a few hoops.
The ancient culture of Tibet wains in Tibet, but it is also very much alive in certain places both inside and outside Tibet. It is these places which the Chinese will never be able to reach, no matter how hard they try.
In 50 years , Tibet will be completely Chinese.Thats what happens when a nation fails to secure its borders.
