Hi friend, I understand your thinking, but here in Florida we are trying to make sure we have the VERY BEST candidate to face Grayson in November. That is why we are not sitting back and waiting to see “who the Primary winner is” and then support the winner.

Grayson came out and attacked Dan Fanelli first! I am sure Grayson knows that Dan Fanelli would be the candidate he would have the biggest problem defeating in November.

I can't vote for Allen West or Dan Fanelli from my FL District 10, but I have given donations to both of these honorable men. They are my two favorite veterans running for Congress! I know they both need donations NOW in order to win their Primary race and then they both will receive money from the GOP to face the Socialist/DEMs in November.

Like I said, after you good folks in Florida get things settled about who’s the best person to beat Grayson, I’ll donate to them. I just want to see that SOB run the f**k out of Congress, and I personally don’t care who does it, because anybody would be better than Grayson. Hope ya’ll pick someone who knows how to raise cash and who is electable, i.e., appeals to enough people as not being some kind of nut job worse than Grayson. We’ve certainly shot ourselves in the foot here in Colorado with Dan (”U.N. bicycle conspiracy”) Maes and Tom (”The Big Ego”) Tancredo both running against that commie Hickenlooper.

Hubby and I did some sign waving for Dan Fanelli close to the hotel where we are staying here in Orlando. It was an interesting day! Lots of honks from cars going by!

We then went on to another District 8 candidate event and I put out some of my Allen West/Dan Fanelli fliers, asking Florida voters to consider supporting these two Veterans running for Congress. But right after we put out some fliers on cars, someone came along and took my flyers off the cars! Nice that I had my camera to catch it on film!

It was someone from the campaign of one of Dan Fanelli’s opponents. It is just same old same old “more dirty tricks” that folks can read about here:

Dan Fanelli, 8th Congressional District Candidate, Demands Alan Grayson’s Resignation

ORLANDO - On August 17, 2010, Dan Fanelli, candidate for Congress in the 8th District of Florida, held a Press Conference outside downtown Orlando City Hall and demanded the resignation of Congressman Alan Grayson for ethics violations stated in the “House Ethics Manual.”
When a Congressman communicates with the public, there is a certain level of trust, truth, and integrity that the public expects. Grayson has violated that trust when he sent out a campaign fundraising email “money bomb” that went beyond the standard “negative” political ad.

As per the “House Ethics Manual”: “A Member...of the House shall conduct himself at all times in a manner that shall reflect creditably on the House.” [House Rule 23, clause 1] and “the ethical precepts set forth in this code represent continuing traditional standards of ethical conduct to be observed by members of the House at all times.”

Grayson’s email made false statements presented as fact of what Dan Fanelli said and about Fanelli’s core beliefs. Grayson’s statements were blatant and outright lies and not befitting that of a Congressman. Grayson’s negative comments are even more ridiculous because they come just weeks after candidate Dan Fanelli held the “Rally to End Racism” on the steps of Orlando City Hall in association with the National Association for the Advancement of Conservatives of All Colors (NAACPC). The event was supported by the Congress of Racial Equality (CORE) with a letter from CORE’s National Spokesman, Niger Innis, which was read at the event.

This past January, Dan Fanelli attended CORE’s 25th Anniversary Celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., where he met with the founder, the Honorable Roy Innis. Fanelli has a lifelong record of promoting racial equality going back to his days as a midshipman at the U.S. Naval Academy, which has continued throughout his life.

As a result of Alan Grayson’s verbal assault and continuing outrageous comments made against Dan Fanelli, Dan has filed a formal complaint with the Congressional “Committee of Standards of Official Conduct”. Fanelli cites three statements from the “House Ethics Manual” that Congressman Grayson has violated:
(excerpt 1) email subject line: “Subject: My Opponent is a Racist ... and Proud of It!”
(excerpt 2) “My opponent, Dan Fanelli, thinks that only brown people should have to pass through security at the airports. Because all terrorists are brown people.”
(excerpt 3) “What Fanelli and his Republican bigot friends are saying is that American citizenship comes in two versions: white and nonwhite.... Because they want to degrade and put down everyone who isn't just like them.”

Alan Grayson’s final plea in his fundraising email closed with the statement, “Defeat Dan Fanelli. Contribute $25 now”. This is again, an example of Alan Grayson’s deceitful pleas for money. Grayson’s statements are total fabrication and without merit.

Since former major league baseball pitcher, Roger Clemens, could face 30 years in prison if convicted for lying to a Congressional committee; then, shouldn't Alan Grayson, a Congressman and who should be held to a higher standard, face a similar penalty, if convicted of fabricating lies about a citizen?

Dan Fanelli awaits the determination from the Congressional “Committee of Standards of Official Conduct” for Congressman Grayson’s ethics violations. Fanelli is currently running to win the 8th Congressional District Republican Primary this August 24, the winner of which will face Alan Grayson in the General Election.

Apparently, Dan Fanelli is running against me because I'm not racist.

Fanelli's "racist madness" was reported on MSNBC, the Washington Post, the Huffington Post, CBS, and Talking Points Memo. You can watch the ad on Keith Olbermann's show, which dedicated a whole segment to Fanelli.

But let's go through some pictures together, so Dan Fanelli can see some different faces of terrorism.

Terrorists come in all colors, shapes, sizes, and even genders. But Fanelli isn't really talking about terrorism. What Fanelli and his Republican bigot friends are saying is that American citizenship comes in two versions: white and nonwhite. That's why they want to put through laws that would require every single person to carry proof of citizenship, or risk arrest. Because they want to degrade and put down everyone who isn't just like them.

I have news for them. America is a nation, not a tribe.

Can you chip in $25 or more toward out 8/23 money bomb to stop Dan Fanelli?

This impulse on the right toward racism, sexism, xenophobia, and homophobia keeps popping up over and over again. Just yesterday, "Dr. Laura" scolded a black woman, on the air, for marrying a white man. And then the good doctor used the N-word, on the air, again and again. This is what I had to say about it, on CNN last night:
