Retired Gen. Stanley McChrystal has been hired by Yale University to teach a graduate course on leadership.

McChrystal was ousted as commander in Afghanistan in July after derisive comments he and his staff made about their political bosses surfaced in an issue of Rolling Stone.

In a statement released Monday, Yale announced that McChrystal's seminar would "examine how dramatic changes in globalization have increased the complexity of modern leadership.''

The course will be offered in fall 2010 by Yale's Jackson Institute for Global Affairs, where McChrystal has been appointed a senior fellow.

The former general said in an accompanying statement that he was excited to share his "experiences and insights as a career military officer."

So he will be teaching a class on how to give up sovereignty and suck up to foreign countries?

He must have voted for Obama. No way he would get a gig at Yale if he was a conservative. Another dhimini.

At least he didn’t take a job as a contractor.

Proof positive the guy is a liberal dumbass. With all due respect. Not.

I remember many saying he had a grand and super honorable plan to go after Obama as soon as he was out. Instead he goes to work for the Ruling Class assembly line.

Well good for him.

His choicee of Yale is stupid, should have been Pepperdine or some such.

At least he didn’t join Krugman at Princeton.

This pretty much says all there is to know about McChrystal. And none of it is good.

If I wanted to get a class from a retired general, I think it would have been Smedley Butler. At least it would have been entertaining and no B.S.

I doubt that Pat Tillman’s family will be sending congratulations.

I see that, once again, the Ruling Class takes care of their own.

Friendly fire incidents are always emotional for the grieving family. Unofficially the military has always tried to put the best face on it even if it meant being somewhat loose with the facts.

Nothing that I know of has been reported to indicate anything other than an accident. If it was an accident I’m not sure what Tillman’s family’s concern is.

If the family has other information pointing to murder by another American or Allied soldier then they have every right to pursue it. I’m not a McChrystal fan. I’ll say that right up front. So, if he tried to sweep something under the rug he should be called on it. Hell, it may have been McChrystal’s ridiculous ROE that got Tilman killed for all I know.

IMHO, McChrystal represents everything bad about current senior military leadership.
