Also, I've see several interviews with this guy -- he seems like a good guy. Really cares about his sister. Really cares about crime. Really cares about his neighborhood. I like him.

Yep, it’s real. There are follow-up vids, too. He was recently interviewed on local talk radio. He’s a student @ Virginia College. I think it’s one of the funniest vids right up there with the ‘Mobile Leprechaun’. ;-)

Saw this when it first came out, and my first thought was, “I can’t believe they put this guy in their report!”
I think he is great, but it was funny watching his reaction and it definitely didn’t seem to belong on a news report.
