I was at that ballpark for Stephen Strasburg's third MLB start against the White Sox one Friday in June. At one point a huge cloth banner in support of illegal immigrants was unfurled from the second tier on the first base side. I'm sure it blocked the view of patrons in the lower tier. After a few moments a guy jumped up a few times and finally got a grip on the banner and pulled it down. I cheered his success, but some booed.
Also, at some point a buzz went through the stands that Obama was at the game, in the second tier on the third base side. I was sitting on the lower level on that side but I couldn't see him. Interesting that there was no formal announcement of his presence over the public address system. Were they concerned that BO might not receive a positive reception?

Didn't these obamanuts get the memo that they won the first round?
I think they just want to protest - doesn't matter where, or about what...just a little camera time to add to their 15 minutes of fame.

On "Baseball Tonight" (I think it was) they were showing highlights of this game and they couldn't figure out why there were only 21,000 fans there when Strasburg was pitching for the Nationals.
Maybe the other 30,000 stayed away to protest the Arizona law.

All four were escorted off the field and their fates couldnt immediately be learned. All four were escorted off the field and were never seen again.
I like happy endings.
