It’s good that people like this reveal who they really are.

It’s an odd pairing that he directed his hatred at Sarah and Levi. It shows that the hatred is not directed at Sarah because she is a conservative, because Levi doesn’t appear to be a conservative. It’s not because she’s a Republican. Levi’s not a Republican. Levi’s not a member of the Palin family, so it can’t be family hatred. It’s not hatred of women, Levi is male I think.

What Sarah Palin and Levi Johnston have in common is that they are both members of the country class that have achieved name recognition. Country class people are supposed to quietly sit back and pay their taxes, stay in the red states, and not embarrass the ruling class by making it known that they exist. This is a class hatred, the kind of hatred that is one step away from gas chambers and mass euthanasia.

Class and group hatred is generally reserved for a minority group. This hatred is directed by a powerful minority against the majority. It can only prevail if the majority remain asleep. Thankfully, there are idiots like this guy to tell us who they are.

Excellent observations. It is odd that the death wish would be directed at Sarah and Levi, specifically. Most of Sarah Palin’s supporters wish Levi Johnston had never met Bristol Palin! (He’d never have made it past “Howdy,” with my daughter, Seaman Anoreth!)

I think you’re correct that the man is reacting to “country people” getting attention in the national sphere. Imagine how he’d have felt about Andrew Jackson, or Abraham Lincoln! They make the Palins look like aristocracy!
