It is ridiculous to be in your own driveway and get arrested.
A friend an myself were splitting firewood off to the side of my driveway, and we decided to take a break and have a brewski or 2. So, we got in my pickup truck and turned on some tunes. A State Trooper passed by and then suddenly stopped, put the car in reverse, and drove in my driveway.
He asked us what we were doing,a lthough it was obvious.
When we told him, he just shook his head and told us that if it weren’t for the fact that the firewood was right there, he would have to arrest us. But since the firewood was there, he believed our story and let us go.
But in the case with the lawnmower guy, he was on a highway, and a danger to everyone else. Plus the fact that this wasn’t the first time, he got what he deserved.
He doesn't need to be at the wheel, reins, or handlebars of anything.
