If the officer or detective has information or evidence linking the suspect to another residential burglary, and charges the suspect with the second crime, the bail would be 40,000 dollars.
According to the article, the woman was charged with having sex with two minors over a period of a year and a half. The investigators would count up the number of times that she was suspected of having had sex with either boy, and charge her with separate counts of the same crime. The total number of charges would determine her bail.
