Me too - AK is a beautiful state, and the former guv does a great job of representing its treasures. I love it when people take pride in their state and/or region & know its history/traditions. But, I know it’s old-fashioned - given how much most hate this country & everything about it these days.

I don't know what this Mediaite guy is trying to do here, but this statement is just a bald-faced lie. After the election, Palin returned to the governorship of Alaska and was pilloried with false ethics charges by the agents of the Democrat party which eventually resulted in her resigning to escape the trap of misuse of the law Palin herself had signed.
After that, she has been on Fox News quite a bit, and has had a winning record on endorsing candidates in primaries and special elections.
Every single thing she writes on Facebook, it seems, is reported in the media, and reporters ask the President about the things she says. If all that is "vanish[ing] from the public view", I would like to know what the "public view" is.
But this guy doesn't care about facts. This smells like a hit piece on Democrat enemy #1, Governor Palin.
